Chronology of cameras Light Industrial Products

Seagull cameras arrived in France at the end of 1971. The range then available consists of a 24 x 36 reflex and a 6x6 TLR, heavily inspired  by the Rolleicord. Even the diamond shaped logo has an sense of déjà vu.
This model is the 4A, ie the one with a cocking and film winding crank.
The shooting lens opens to 3.5. It has four coated lenses. The focal length is 75 mm. The viewing lens opens to 2.8. The shutter is limited to 1/300 of a second. The choice of the speed is via the slider on the left of the lens. A symmetric slider adjusts the aperture. On the side, the big distance adjustment knob contains no light cell but a depth of field table.
